Looking to hit the water by mid to late April. We will start off jigging for stripers until the bunker show up. We do throw a cast net, so no, you don't have to snag your own bait. We have plenty of dates available throughout the season.
Our new 30' Island Hopper is practically brand new now. EVERYTHING on the boat is new, including a brand new 300hp Cummins Diesel. We cruise at 20+ knots and over 25 knots to chase some stripes! We can EASILY carry 6 passengers + the mate and I and still have room for 5 more! (but 6 max). The boat has a live well, bathroom, plenty of seating, over 24 rod holders, storage and state of the art electronics, including high definition and digital fish finders. We should have the microwave and coffee maker installed very soon too!
Now to the fun stuff. We are hosting a "FISH STIX BOAT ONLY" Striper tournament this Spring. One time fee of $25 and a prize of a full charter of your choice($750 value). Tournament is from 5/1/12 - 7/15/12 and you MUST have a tournament ticket PRIOR to catching a fish. The official rules will be on our website very soon. All fish weighed on the boat at the dock.
