The ling fishing on the party boats has still been good, They have picking away at the occassional cod, but more cod are showing. The dogfish arent as bad as in past years. All in all, looks like we should get through the winter with some decent cathes.

Holly Mackerel!!!

For those interested in Mackerel, the Belmar boats are sailing and the fishing has come on strong. Full coolers are not uncommon.

Still good ling fishing

My cousins on the Jamaica fleet are still doing well with the ling. There are some small cod mixed in and an occasional lobster. Some guys report form about 25-50 ling per trip.

Good mixture of Ling and Cod.

The party boats are still doing well with Ling Dings and Cod. Fortunately they are fishing in 140-165' of water. That sure beats over 200'. It's a good chance to come home with some nice fillets.

Ling fishing still hot

Talking to the guys on the Paramount and Jamaica 2. The ling fishing is holding up very well. decent shot of Cod mixed in.
