  • 5/18/12 Miss Belmar blues and stripers
We had excellent blue fishing today with all the blues you wanted with some stripers mixed in. At the end of the day, most people had 10-15 blues a piece. We went out for afternoon stripers today and I will post a full report with pictures tomorrow. It looks like the weekend will be beautiful and there are plenty of fish around.

    Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

    AFTERNOON STRIPERS TOMORROW FROM 4:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.

The Tropical Adventure will be sailing tomorrow and Sunday for 1/2 day fluke and sea bass from 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and again from 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

We are now taking reservations for the Macy's Day 4th of July fireworks. For more information, please give us a call at (732) 681-6866.

This morning started off very slow until about half way through the day when we started picking at the blues. As the day went on the fishing got better. Everyone ended up catching plenty of blues with just a couple keeper stripers. Our pool winner was Marc Mullen with a 17 lb striper.

    Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

WE WILL BE SAILING FOR NIGHT BLUES AND STRIPERS TOMORROW AND SATURDAY NIGHT FROM 7:30 P.M. - 2:30 A.M.

5/14/12 Miss Belmar stripers and blues
This morning, Captain Lenny was catching the blues real good just a little over 3 1/2 miles from our inlet. We then went a little further offshore catching more blues with an occasional striper which we had to throw back. We went back inshore and up to the north of our inlet still catching the blues with an occasional striper. We caught a few stripers on live bunker and some on Ava 47's. Our pool winner was Dennis Newcombe with a nice 14 lb blue.

    Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

NIGHT BLUES & STRIPERS STARTING THIS FRIDAY, MAY 18TH, FROM 7:30 P.M. - 2:30 A.M. AND EVERY NIGHT THEREAFTER.

    Miss Belmar weekend wrap up
Yesterday mornings trip we caught the blues real good along with some stripers. The 4:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. trip was very successful with the blues. We caught them all on jigs but no stripers. We had a tough time finding bunker so we jigged all afternoon catching blues up to 10 lbs. Our pool winner was Gustavo Diaz with a 10 lb blue. Today, Captain Scotty started off catching bait a mile from our inlet. Although the bait area was broad, the bait did not want to cooperate so we left and went jigging. We caught the blues up to 12 lbs and we picked away at the stripers catching 18 keepers with some being over 30 lbs. High hooks had over 15 blues keeping only their legal limit of 15. At the end of the day, some people had 15 blues and a striper or two. Our pool winner was a 42 lb striper. Overall, the weekend fishing was a vast improvement. As the water continues to warm, the fishing will only get better.

    Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

    AFTERNOON STRIPERS EVERY FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.
